  1. Looking fab Joanne. Have you tried painting the leaves of the ground elder with roundup? Bet your broad beans smell lovely!

Yes Jas in the past many times but it doesn't work well among other plants, good on concrete areas, although rarely have time theses days the best method seems to be to clear the ground and then put a suppressor down like compost bags and something on top but I can't clear all the beds like that now due to mature roses, trees and shrubs and there is just too much affected by bindweed as well which I don't think you can ever get rid of.
